Paul has been a Technical Recruiter in the Chicago area since 1998.  He currently serves as an elected member of the Illinois Staffing Association’s Board of Directors; he is a monthly co-host on the talk radio show Job Talk on WJJG in Chicago; he is the author of "Turning Interviews into Offers" audio training program; and he is a public speaker & trainer to job clubs and networking groups across the Chicago area. Prior to joining the ISA Board, they recognized him for his service based approach to recruiting by asking him to sit on a discussion panel of top performers to offer recruiters what the ISA called, “Tips from the Best.”

His specialty throughout his entire recruiting career has been in placing technology savvy professionals into a variety of company types ranging from very large Fortune 100 companies to small, 15 person firms. He has developed trusted, working relationships within numerous industries including Manufacturing, Financial Services, Insurance, Consulting and Telecommunications, just to name a few. Throughout his experience as a Senior Technology Recruiter and Manager of Tech Recruiters he has had the opportunity to train, mentor and lead many top producing recruiters in the Chicago area. The valuable challenges and experiences he has encountered and enjoyed motivated him to branch out and establish his own firm. Hence the birth of DriveStaff, Inc. in 2002.

Prior to his recruiting career, Paul toured the Midwest as a motivational speaker to high school students. After surviving a severe head on collision with a drunk driver, he used that experience to teach students at dozens of high schools each year about the impact drinking & driving can have on them, and the people they hit.  He made his living during that time as a financial advisor. He is a graduate of Illinois College in Jacksonville where he served as President of Pi Pi Rho Literary Society for two terms and was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon Honor Society in Economics.

Paul’s successful career has been built (and continues to be built) on his strong ethical values, cherished relationships and a focus on producing results.
